It is important to have all the components that will allow the highest percentage of success. Historically RAFC had many missing elements that have been built up over the last 5 years to get us to this juncture of playing in the Academy League. To have the balance of a high standard training facility and equipment, open minded experienced coaches, strong management and financial principles with sponsorship, calculated vision and planning, creates an environment conducive to produce players and teams that are technically superior, physically stronger and faster, cognitively aware and football intelligent which are the ingredients of the world best football individuals and clubs.
EAI and Randburg Football has granted an opportunity for youth players based within our facility and area. We have good relationships with many PSL clubs and have been earmarked to be dominant in producing good competitive teams and players from the Northern Suburbs of Johannesburg. Our partnering has been successful with EAI which is a minimum 3 year sponsorship deal, therefore the development teams which are U14, U16 and U18 being strategically named EAI Development in the Academy League for 2012.
Although financially independent and a separate chairman appointment for EAI Development this is another RAFC initiative for its stronger more competitive junior players to aspire to and play at the highest football level in Gauteng. Our passion at RAFC is our strength historically, we channelling it into constructive planning, our success in youth football at this level will depend on maintaining that passion.
Yours in Football
